We had a great group of calves in 2011. Thank you to all the buyers that thought they were as good as I did.
Sugar Bottom is one of the nicest heifers we have ever had. She has it all, size, conformation, color and disposition. A super heifer. She was born April 23rd, 19inches/22lbs. Her mother is Sugar Plum. We can hardly wait to see how she grows out.
Little Shelby is a beauty. She has great color and a perfect build. She was born August 6th, 21 inches/23lbs. She is going to make a great cow. Her mother is Sydney, only 34 inches tall. We expect great things from this family line.
Pookie is the second heifer out of Frostie. And just as good as the first one, Snookie. Pookie has chocolate points, our first one with that color. She also has little pea sized speckles on her body. She is going to be a great little cow. She was born August 1st, 21inches/20lbs. Her mother is a great milker and she is growing fast.
Augustine, the last calf of the year. And a good one. This little heifer goes way back on her mother's side to one of our orginal longhorn cows. She was born August 30, 21.5 inches tall and 27lbs. She put the final touch on a great calving season......now we can hardly wait until next year.
Vee, is a nice black and white heifer. An April 6th calf. We did not breed her but she does go back to our stuff on her sire side. A real nice heifer. Just the right amount of black sports. She is going to make a really nice cow.
Hombre is the only bull calf we kept back. He is a great little longhorn bull out of Hoochie. His full sister is Ellie Mae from last year and looks the same except without the white face. He is growing out nicely. He was born April 12th, 21inches/27lbs. We think he will make a great herd sire.
