Aspen is one of my favorite animals on the whole place.  She has the look, color and presence that a top notch cow has.  She just carries herself beautifully.  She has had a great heifer and a bull from Bullwinkle. Both black and white.  Small with great conformation.  She is a great mother. She is bred back the same way for 2009.

Deana Jane is a flashy little heifer.  She is out of Bullwinkle and Stormy.  Stormy looks just like her.  Deana Jane bred as a yearling and had a great heifer from Freckles in '08 (pictured w/ her).  She is going to have a lot of calves in the herd if she keeps calving good ones like this.  She looks like she will be a 36/37 inch cow.

Misty Blue, what can we say that the picture doesn't.  She loves to be scratched in the pasture.  She was mother raised but tame as a puppy.  Misty is out of a registered dexter and Ripley.  She had another  great 18 inch heifer this year. We will breed her back the same way w/ Bullwinkle for a 2009 calf.

Shelby is a full sister to Misty above.  Both are out of our bull Ripley and a dun colored dexter cow we had.  A little different in builds but just as nice a cows.  Both have had great calves for us.  Shelby had a great heifer this year from Freckles and will be bred back to Bullwinkle for '09.  A few more cows like this in the herd will be fun.

Spook is a cow we bought this spring.  She is a nice percentage mini zebu cow that stands 38 inches tall. She had a nice 18 lb heifer this summer and is in with Sugar Daddy for a flashy 2009 calf.  Check back, I think she will give us some keepers.
