Buck Fifty Another bull but what a great little guy. He was only 20 inches and 22 lbs at birth out of this real nice 35 inch 2 yr old heifer (Button Hole Sally). This guy is real sweet. At right he is 2 months old looking in a 4 gallon bucket. He is staying small with the color and conformation we like.

Taquita. This calf is for the guys in Anchorage, Alaska. We had a new calf the day we talked with them and my wife said it was a little bull. To my pleasant suprise it is a little heifer. The guys up north picked out the name. She was 22 inches tall and 35 lbs. She is doing great. She has turned nearly black but still has some brown points. She too one of the smallest calves in the pen.

Ripley is a great little bull calf.... color, color, color. It will be interesting to see him grow. Since this is a dominate color pattern he should give colored calves no matter who he is bred to. Keep an eye out for him as he grows. His mother(Powder) is marked just like him. He is out of Peb also so he should mature around 37 inches tall.

Strawberry Wine is it! The color we want. The conformation we strive for. This little girl has got it all. While she is out of our largest cow, she is sired by our 36 inch bull Peb. We are keeping her back in the herd and since she has the dominate color pattern, we hope she will pass that on to her offspring. This is going to be a good one.
Blueberry Buckle is sired by Peb from Ghost. She has a very unique color pattern. She is small and refined and a very curious little one. She is always checking me out when I am in the pastures and pens. She is going to stay around and give us some pretty calves in the years to come.

Bullwinkle. This guy is out of Piglet from Peb. He was born March 1,2002 at 20.5 inches tall and 32 lbs. He is the only brindle we had this year and since his conformation is what we have been working toward, he will stay around awhile to see how he grows out.
The calves on this page are some of the ones we have held back to add to our herd. These are some of the most colorful calves and smallest calves we had in 2002. It will be a lot of fun to watch them grow.
