Miniature Cattle Calves 2003
Our 2003 calves have started. It has been another bull year. We only have had a few heifers. Some very nice calves, just need more girls. We are expecting 3 more calves in June and 3 more in August. Every year we try to keep back 3-5 heifer calves and 2-3 bull calves to improve our herd. Once we are done calving we will know what is for sale. We are expecting to have 10 or so calves for sale this year. We will have the majority of our calves from the bulls Pitt...34inches 400 lbs and Oz...33 inches and 300 lbs. Both can be seen on the bull pages.
Holly Daze. This little sweety was born December 28th. While she is technically a 2002 calf, we thought we would start of this years calving season with a bang. This little girl is the 3rd daughter we have from Pooh Bear. She is one of our largest cows at 42 inches at the back but she is a great mother and her calves are great. Her sire is Peb(36 inches) so she should mature around 38 inches. She has lots of color. Since we are bottle feeding her she is being spoiled rotten.

Sugar Bear....what can we say. The pictures say it all. He is our last calf from Peb, wish he was a heifer. He is full brother to Stormy and Boxer out of our shorthorn cow Red. We are also bottle feeding him because of the weather. He loves to play. He has a real sweet personality.

Spanky. This boy is solid. He is out of Bessy(38 inch angus cross) and Pitt (34inches). He looks like a bull already. He is not going to be very big and it looks like he will be polled. He is going to be a dandy.
California Gold This is Gold Dust's first calf. This little bull is picture perfect. This is our 1st calf from OZ. Since both parents are small, he should make a great one to put back in the herd.
Cottontail is our only calf from Brillo. He is a nice little bull out of Painted Lady. I thought he would have had more color but his little appaloosa blanket on his but is too cute. Most are white but a few are light brown. It will be interesting to see him grow out.
