We are expecting 20 plus calves every year starting April. We will calve throughout the summer.
Heifer calves start at $2500 each.
Bull calves start at $2000
Steers can be purchased for $800.
Pricing is based on size, coloring and breeding.
A 50% deposit will hold an animal until they are ready to be picked up. We do require full payment if animals are altered in any way such as dehorning or castration.
We do sell out every year. If you would like to be put on the buyers list let us know. We can do that at no charge.
New calves are available no sooner than 3 months unless bottle calves are available. The only reason calves are put on a bottle is at the buyer’s request. Calves are required to be paid for in full before placing on a bottle and picked up within two weeks.
We prefer leaving calves with their mothers. Hard to beat mother’s milk. While we have never had a problem with bottle fed calves, mother raised calves are always better and still are easy to work with train
Fergie, hard to find a nicer heifer. Out of Katrina(her first heifer) by Choncho. Born Sept 12, 21inch/28lbs. She is going to be a very pretty brindle spotted cow when she is done. Great female line continues. She is the 6th generation female born on our farm. Keeper.
Roxie is a great little heifer. She is out of Pepper by Choncho. Nearly all white except for her colored ears. She was only 18 inches and 18lbs. September 6, 2016. She was so friendly when she was born. For the first two weeks I could she would come up to be scratched. Keeper
Mini Pearl, one of the nicest calves in 2016. She is out of one of our nicest cows. Out of Sugar N Spice by Choncho. She was born Sept 29, 2016, 19.5 inch/23lbs. She is going to be a very nice red white park. Keeper.
Penny, has to be another "best" of 2016. She looks like a hereford cross but not even close. She is out of Shelby by Tyson. She has the color and personality. It will be fun to see how she finishes. She was our last calf of 2016. Born November 7, 21.5 inches/ 27 lbs. Keeper.
Jack, another great calf out of Frostie by Choncho. He was a little big. He was 22 inches/32lbs. He was born Sept 2. He is a fancy little bull calf He is white with red spots but should be brindle. He has great bloodlines and should throw nothing but color.
B-Dub is a super nice black and white bull calf. Sire is Boone out of his mother pictured here. His mother, Pitch, is 36 inches tall. He was born July 4, 2016. He was 21inches/27lbs. He is filling out nicely. He has lots of color. He is going to be a good one.
JB, another on the bull run. He is a great little bull our of our cow KC by Boone. This cow has had nothing but loud colored heifers so our luck had to run out some time. He was born June 18, and was 23 inches/36 lbs. I think he would make a better steer than bull, but take your pick, he does have a lot of color in his background on both sides. He may be a sleeper. SOLD SOLD SOLD TO IOWA
Hank, is another one on our bull run. He is out of the cow pictured with him and a blakc and white paint bull,(same as Bluberi below). We bought his mother this spring bred so he is no relation to any of our stuff but a nice one. He could turn brindle like his mom or turn all the way solid. He was born June 16, was 23 inches/34lbs. SOLD TO IOWA
Jim Dandy, a bull calf out of Vannillie and Boone. This guy is as nice as the come. He was born June 4, 22inches/36lbs. On the big side but deep chested and long. Bluberri, our 3rd heifer. She was born May 27, 21inches/27 lbs. She is a great little heifer that is thick and deep. Her blue color will turn black so she will finish a nice black and white. It is a dominate color pattern that passes on to future generations almost guarenteed. She is unrelated to any of our other calves. SOLD TO GEORGIA
Bull calf out of Snookie by Boone. He was born May 26, 22 inches/24lbs. He has great conformation as did his parents. He should be the total package. Size, color and conformation. We have his 3 yr old brother in our breeding pen and he is under 36 inches with a great personality. SOLD TO FLORIDA
Talia, a great heifer out of a great cow. Born May 18 out of Sugar Plum by Boone she was 21 inches and 27lbs. We have not sold a heifer out of this cow yet and only sold one grand-daughter (my mistake). This is a great cow line. Everyone wants what they don't have and I wanted a black cow in the herd. This is her. She is black from head to toe. She has color in her background on both sides all day long. A great addition to the herd. KEEPER.
Big Time, our third calf is a bull. A super nice one . If you want color in your pasture and your calves, this guy can do it all. Born May 14, he was 22 inches/32lbs out of Pickles by Choncho. It will be interested to see how he finishes. His mother is a dark chocolate with brindle, and this guy has red spots but black nose, hooves and tail tip. He may be black and white when done. He is a looker. Steer $750 or bull $1500
Mae Dae, a colorful heifer out of colorful parents. Our plan is working. Born May 9 out of Kalamazoo and Choncho she was 21.5 inches and 23 lbs. All leg. She is growing into them and looking great. She has everything we are looking for in a little heifer. She has color, personality and both parents are under 36 inches. SOLD TO GEORGIA
Cookie is a sweet little bottle calf. She is small and should stay small. She has a beefy frame and should stay that way. She is colored and cute. Plus she is polled, no horns. She should stay under 36 inches. She was born March 28. She was bottle fed, is halter broke, eats grain, hay and grass, she is ready to go. SOLD TO MINNESOTA
